Room X: A fresh, motivating exercise experience that delivers results you can see. We combine the best-in-class training tools with exciting workouts to help you improve cardiovascular fitness, power, strength and endurance. Whether you are striving to shed a few pounds, enhance performance or improve overall fitness, these classes will help you achieve more with a mix of personal trainer attention, camaraderie and challenging progressive workouts.

 

Sprint 8: A cardio and strength workout designed for ALL fitness levels. The first part of this 45 minute workout is 20 minutes of high intensity - low impact cardio that stimulates growth hormone which torches fat. The second 20 minutes will focus on full body strength training. This workout is everything you need to get stronger and more fit! In order for you to see results, you have to be working at max effort - which is almost impossible to do on your own. You need the energy from a group and the attention from our personal trainers and certified coaches! 

 

Inferno Sculpt: A high energy, fun and challenging workout that will tone and test your body. Utilizing a ballet barre, this class incorporates isometric movements, pilates, yoga and resistance training. A great low impact option that is sure to raise your heart and improve cardiac health. This format is suitable for all fitness levels with modification and progression options provided. Did we mention that this class is taught in a hot room?  Sweating is mandatory! See you in the studio.

 

HIIT Bootcamp: This indoor/outdoor class combines core, strength training, and cardio intervals to promote muscular endurance and cardio health. Using a combination of body weight exercises, medicine balls, kettlebells, resistance bands and free weights…no two workouts will ever look the same! 


Strength & Conditioning: This class will help you build power and strength while burning major calories. Learn proper lifting techniques and functional movements while improving cardiovascular endurance. Barbells, weighted balls, sleds and bodyweight exercises are the name of the game in this class. Come see what you're made of! 

 

Kettlebell Circuit: This dynamic class uses kettlebells to provide a full body workout. Our certified kettlebell instructor will coach you on learning good kettlebell form while building muscle and increasing stamina. 

 

Boxing Bootcamp: Channel your inner Ali with this intense class which uses boxing drills, bags, and gloves to get your heart rate up and build endurance and strength. Guaranteed to get out any frustration you might have!

 

Buns and Guns: This class uses a variety of equipment to challenge you with a focus on glutes and upper body.

 

Butts and Guts: This class uses a variety of equipment to challenge you with a focus on glutes and core.

 

Zone Cycle: Cycle class that ensures you are staying “in the zone” with color coded lights on the bike. Get amazing results by hitting the targets set by our instructors. 

 

Cycle HIIT: An on and off the bike class that pairs cardio on the bike with strength drill off the bike. The best of both worlds!

 

Bikes and Bands: The same high-energy cardio cycling class, with the added benefit of mini bands to strengthen and tone your upper body! This is a full body workout you won't want to miss! Bands will be used for about ten minutes - still getting your climbs, jumps, and miles on the bike!


Barre Cycle: 30 minutes of cycle followed by 30 minutes of classic Barre inspired movement. This music driven class is an intense blend of cardio, strength, posture, and flexibility training. You will experience a mind body connection fused with dance, Pilates, and yoga. This full body class will leave you feeling longer, stronger, leaner, and invigorated. Low/no impact, suitable for all levels, modifications will be offered, no dance training or background needed.

 

TRX Cycle: 30 min. in the cycle studio and 30 min. using the TRX suspension trainer. The best of both worlds! This highly effective combination of cardio and strength training will whip you into shape fast! TRX Level One is highly encouraged prior to signing up for this class. HIGHLY recommend TRX Level 1 first.

TRX Strength: This class is for those wishing to improve overall strength using the TRX suspension trainer. The instructor will take members through a series of body weight exercises designed to increase lean muscle mass and build core strength. Appropriate for all fitness levels but at least one TRX Level One class is highly encouraged before enrolling. HIGHLY recommend TRX Level 1 first.

 

Shockwave: Dubbed the most efficient workout in the world, Shockwave is extreme cross training at it's best. This circuit challenge utilizes a rower to provide short burst, high intensity, calorie torching intervals along with functional strength and sculpting stations designed to target and chisel the legs, the core and the arms. You will find yourself working harder than you ever imagined because of the camaraderie, friendly team competition and motivation designed to push you to your max effort and provide extreme results.

 

Barre: A Barre class that integrates ballet, fitness, yoga and Pilates together in a heart-pumping workout! The use of an EQ (8 pound bar) is used as a training tool for stability, strength and resistance. Class includes 35-40 minutes of cardio, followed by upper body conditioning and core/Pilates work with the EQ. 

 

Buti Yoga: This yoga combines cardio intensive dance, tribal movement, and overall high intensity interval training.

 

Vinyasa Sculpt: Enhancing the mind-body connection while integrating cardiovascular and strength training principles, this faster paced, focused movement is designed for those who want to bring another level of intensity to their yoga practice. In this class you will work the entire body with the combination of yoga flows, free weights and cardio sets all leading to a closing, restful meditation to let it all soak in. All levels welcome, be prepared to leave this class feeling energized, empowered and sweaty!

 

                            GOLD CLASSES

       30 classes offered per week on SAMPLE winter schedule!

 

Cycle 45/60: Indoor cycling is an intense, low impact cardiovascular workout for all fitness levels. Our amazing instructors will take you through various drills designed to get your heart pumping and sweat flowing. Burn calories and improve your overall fitness while listening to driving music on our state of the art sound system. Please show up 15 minutes prior to the start of class if it’s your first time, we will fit you to your bike and you’re all set!

 

Circuit Cycle: 30 min. in the cycle studio and 30 min. of strength training. You will never get bored with the constantly changing format of this class. Weights, kettlebells, sand bells, resistance bands, and medicine balls are just some of the equipment used in this challenging format. Designed for all fitness levels and modifications will always be given.

 

Core Cycle: 30 min in the cycle studio and 30 min in studio using the TRX suspension trainer, K.B., sand bells and weights.

 

TRX Level One: Improve strength, balance, flexibility and core stability using the TRX suspension trainer. TRX leverages gravity and the users own body weight to complete hundreds of highly effective exercises. This class is for beginners and is highly recommended prior to taking any of the other TRX classes offered at Sonoma Fit.
Metabolic Meltdown: Get in shape fast! This class is designed to challenge you in every way. Combining strength, endurance, flexibility and cardio intervals…every workout is different, making it virtually “plateau proof”. Good for most fitness levels and modifications will always be given.

 

So Fit Strength: If you are looking to increase overall strength and improve muscle tone this is the class for you. The low impact, low cardio class format will change each week, using a variety of equipment and training techniques to get your body into shape. A plateau proof workout that is appropriate for most fitness levels.

 

Circuit Training 101: A strength based class with an emphasis on maintaining mobility and flexibility. Burn calories while improving overall health and fitness. This class is appropriate for all fitness levels.

 

Power Yoga: A dynamic, vigorous form of vinyasa yoga. Synchronizing breath with movement, you will gain strength, flexibility and balance…be prepared to break a sweat!

Slow Flow: A gentle, focused, form of vinyasa flow. Feel your body lengthen and strengthen in this mindful form of yoga. Appropriate for all levels.
